An alternative to paraffin wax is the use of beeswax. Beeswax is a basically organic material taken from the hives of bees; it produces a clear burn and will contain little or no waxy residue. Aromatherapy candles made from this beeswax are preferred to be used in doors because the clear burn will not produce the complications that may occur from paraffin wax.
